About Me
Software engineering, lessons learned, and ideas worth exploring.
Hi, I'm Kaustubh, a software engineer focused on building reliable Android applications and exploring the ideas behind good software engineering.
I work primarily with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin Coroutines. Over the years, I've worked on Android applications where maintainability, architecture, testing, and developer experience matter just as much as shipping features.
This blog is where I document what I learn, investigate bugs that aren't always obvious, and share practical lessons from software development.
What I Write About
- Android Development: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, architecture, testing, and performance.
- Software Engineering: Design decisions, maintainability, debugging, developer tooling, and lessons from real-world engineering problems.
- AI Engineering: Exploring AI-assisted development, agents, MCP, and ways to integrate AI into software applications.
Why This Blog Exists
I believe the best way to learn something deeply is to explain it clearly. Writing helps me turn scattered notes, debugging sessions, and experiments into ideas that I can revisit and share with others.
Expect practical examples, honest explanations, and occasional deep dives into topics that initially seemed simpler than they turned out to be.
